New drug combo aims to outsmart tough lung cancer

Summary
This study is testing if adding an experimental drug called berzosertib (M6620) to standard chemotherapy (topotecan) works better than chemotherapy alone for adults whose small cell lung cancer has come back. The goal is to see if the combination can help control the cancer for longer by blocking the cancer cells' ability to repair themselves after chemo. About 104 people with relapsed small cell lung cancer or similar cancers outside the lung will participate.
