Summary

This study aims to understand the real-world experiences of adults with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) as they navigate diagnosis and treatment. Researchers will review medical records and conduct interviews with up to 200 patients to identify why many adults aren't receiving available therapies and what barriers they face. The goal is to improve care pathways and reduce disparities in access to specialized treatment.
