New cancer drug enters human testing for advanced tumors

Summary
This is the first human study of a new experimental drug called SLV-324 for people with advanced solid tumors that have spread. The main goal is to find the safest and most effective dose by giving the drug to about 70 patients and closely monitoring them. Researchers will check how the body processes the drug and look for any early signs that it might help shrink tumors.
