First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new sliding compression locking plate for treating fresh femoral neck fractures (a type of hip fracture). The goal is to see if this plate is safer and works better than current methods. About 1,150 adults who need surgery for this fracture will take part. The main focus is on how much the bone shortens after surgery, measured over 6 to 12 months.
