Glue vs. tissue: which better seals Weight-Loss surgery?

NCT ID NCT07339020

Summary

This study compares two ways to strengthen the staple line during weight-loss sleeve surgery. One method uses medical glue, while the other uses a piece of the patient's own abdominal tissue. Researchers want to see which approach better prevents complications like bleeding, leaks, and pain after surgery. The study involves 100 adults having surgery at Cairo University Hospital.
