Can better sleep tame diabetes? new therapy trial aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07062406

Summary

This study is testing if a 6-week talk therapy program for insomnia can help improve blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. It will involve 30 adults in Louisiana who have both diabetes and significant sleep problems. Researchers will compare the therapy group to a group receiving usual care to see if improving sleep also improves key diabetes health markers.
