Summary

This study monitored the sleep of 48 Veterans with PTSD who have frequent trauma nightmares. Using special mattress sensors at home, researchers tracked sleep quality and heart activity before and after a nightmare treatment. The goal was to learn more about what happens in the body during these nightmares, so doctors can better tailor treatments for Veterans.
