Sleep lab takes to the mountains: does altitude change your sleep test results?
NCT ID NCT05826808
Summary
This study aimed to understand if sleep tests give different results when performed at low altitude versus at a person's home at moderate altitude. Researchers compared sleep quality and breathing patterns in 44 healthy adults who live above 1000 meters. Each participant had sleep tests done both in a low-altitude sleep lab and at their own home, with the order of these tests randomly assigned.
