Scientists probe teen brains to unlock link between sleep, stress, and depression
NCT ID NCT05691439
Summary
This study aims to understand how sleep habits and stressful life events are connected to depression in teenagers. Researchers will measure brain activity, stress responses, and mood in 150 adolescents to see if getting more or earlier sleep can improve brain function related to reward and stress. The goal is to gather evidence that could lead to better prevention programs for teen depression.
