Can nighttime sounds boost your memory?
NCT ID NCT07402590
Summary
This study tested whether playing gentle sounds during sleep could help improve long-term memory in people with early-stage memory loss (amnestic mild cognitive impairment). Thirty-seven participants aged 50-75 used a special device for two nights to see if the sounds helped them remember words and images better. The goal was to see if this safe, non-drug approach could ease a key symptom of memory decline.
