First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study will use a comfortable, wearable headband to monitor brain activity and sleep patterns in 35 adults with epilepsy whose seizures are not controlled by medication. The goal is to understand how poor sleep affects seizure risk in each person. By tracking sleep and seizures at home for a longer period, researchers hope to create personalized ways to manage epilepsy.
