First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding sleep restriction therapy to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) helps children aged 7-11 with insomnia sleep better. 120 children will be split into three groups: CBT with sleep restriction, CBT without it, or a waitlist. Researchers will track sleep using activity monitors and parent reports, and check results at 3 months after treatment ends.
