Sleepless night may weaken Heart's exercise response

NCT ID NCT06679543

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how a night of poor sleep changes the way your heart pumps blood during cycling. Researchers will measure heart output and blood pressure in 30 healthy young adults after normal sleep and after partial sleep deprivation. The goal is to understand if lower blood volume explains the reduced heart performance, and whether men and women respond differently.
