Sleep less or more? scientists track how your gut reacts

NCT ID NCT07243574

Summary

This study aims to understand how sleep affects the bacteria in our gut. Researchers will ask healthy adults who normally sleep too little to sleep 1.5 hours more, and adults who sleep enough to sleep 1.5 hours less, for two weeks. They will collect stool samples to see how these sleep changes alter gut bacteria composition and function.
