Can better sleep training protect nurses from burnout?
NCT ID NCT07326579
Summary
This study tests whether a 6-month sleep education program, led by workplace health nurses, can help healthcare workers who are new to 12-hour alternating day and night shifts get more and better sleep. It will involve 160 nursing assistants and measure their sleep duration, quality, and overall health. The goal is to see if personalized sleep advice can improve well-being for staff in demanding shift-work roles.
