Summary
This small pilot study is testing if a prescription sleep medication called suvorexant can help people in early recovery from cocaine or methamphetamine addiction. Researchers want to see if better sleep leads to less stress, fewer cravings, and helps people stay longer in their residential treatment program. The study will compare the sleep medication plus standard treatment against standard treatment alone.
