Sleep troubles may worsen vertigo in Ménière's patients

NCT ID NCT07299578

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether sleep disorders are linked to more severe vertigo in people with Ménière's disease, a condition that causes hearing loss, ringing in the ears, and dizziness. Researchers will track 100 adults from a French hospital to see if those with worse sleep also have more disabling vertigo. No treatments are tested—the goal is to understand the connection so doctors can better address sleep issues during checkups.
