Summary
This study aims to understand why people with damage to specific brain areas (hypothalamus and pituitary) often have severe sleep problems. Researchers will compare 60 patients with this condition to healthy volunteers, measuring sleep patterns, hormone levels, and brain activity. The goal is to identify the causes of these sleep disorders to eventually develop better treatments for patients who continue to suffer despite current hormone replacement therapy.
