Scientists probe Dream-Acting Disorder's link to broken body clocks

NCT ID NCT04886076

Summary

This study aims to understand if a disrupted internal body clock (circadian rhythm) plays a role in causing REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD), a condition where people physically act out their dreams. Researchers will measure sleep patterns, hormone levels, and daytime sleepiness in 30 adults recently diagnosed with RBD. The goal is to gather knowledge about the disorder's development, not to test a treatment.
