Can a simple cap help fragile newborns sleep better in the hospital?
NCT ID NCT07423962
Summary
This study tested whether a specially designed sleep cap could help babies in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU) sleep better and improve their body's vital signs. Researchers compared 53 stable infants over 32 weeks old, with some wearing the cap and others not. The cap was designed to block light and noise to create a calmer environment, aiming to support the babies' development and recovery.
