First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at how sleep problems might affect memory and thinking in teenagers (ages 12-18) with sickle cell disease. Participants will use a simple at-home sleep monitor and complete thinking tests during a regular clinic visit. The goal is to better understand the link between nighttime oxygen levels and brain function, which could lead to better care in the future.
