Summary
This study tested whether a simple, combined eye mask and earplug band could help heart attack patients sleep better in the noisy, bright coronary care unit (CCU). One hundred patients spent one night using the band and one night with standard care, and reported their sleep quality each morning. The goal was to see if this low-cost, non-drug tool could improve rest, which is important for heart recovery.
