Can couples therapy help people stick with their sleep apnea machines?

NCT ID NCT07447284

Summary

This study is testing whether a special program for couples can help African American patients with moderate-to-severe sleep apnea use their CPAP machines more regularly. The program includes virtual couples therapy, peer support groups, and text message reminders. Researchers will compare this approach to standard care to see if it improves machine use, sleep quality, and daily life for both the patient and their partner.
