New app aims to boost CPAP use in sleep apnea patients

Summary
This study tests a 4-month personalized digital program (PASS) to help people with obstructive sleep apnea start and stick with positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy. Sixty adults who are newly diagnosed, overweight, and inactive will be randomly assigned to either the PASS program or a general hygiene program. The goal is to see if the program is feasible, acceptable, and improves PAP use and health habits.
