NCT ID NCT05429983

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring how the airway opens during a sleep exam can predict if a nerve stimulator (Inspire) will work for people with obstructive sleep apnea who cannot use CPAP. About 60 adults with moderate to severe sleep apnea will take part. Researchers will stimulate the tongue muscle during a drug-induced sleep endoscopy and measure airflow to see if it matches later treatment success.
