Why kids stop using their sleep machines: new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07176767
Summary
This study aims to understand why children and teenagers with sleep apnea often struggle to use their prescribed breathing machines (PAP therapy). Researchers will follow 82 kids, aged 8-18, who are starting this treatment to see if having insomnia makes it harder to stick with the therapy. The goal is to gather information that could lead to better support for children who have both sleep apnea and trouble falling or staying asleep.
