Summary
This study tested whether a daily oral medication called lorundrostat could help adults who have both moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea and high blood pressure. In this 48-person trial, participants took either the study drug or a placebo for four weeks, then switched after a break. The main goal was to see if the drug reduced the number of times a person stops breathing during sleep (the apnea-hypopnea index) and lowered blood pressure.
