Summary
This study aimed to find early signs of heart and blood vessel problems in people with obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers looked at body measurements, sleep apnea severity, and biological markers to predict these issues. They also tested whether CPAP treatment could improve heart function after 3 to 6 months. The study included 133 adults with moderate to severe sleep apnea but was terminated early.
