VA launches study to crack the code on Tough-to-Treat sleep apnea

Summary
This study aims to understand why central sleep apnea is hard to treat in people with heart failure. Researchers will test combinations of a standard breathing machine (PAP) with different add-on treatments in 200 Veterans. The goal is to find better ways to manage this sleep disorder and improve future care.
