New hope for sleep apnea patients with heart conditions
NCT ID NCT06776432
Summary
This study is testing three different medications (sivopixant, acetazolamide, and SASS-001) to see if they can improve breathing during sleep for adults with sleep apnea that has a central component. The trial will involve 60 participants who have sleep apnea along with certain heart conditions or high blood pressure. Researchers will measure changes in breathing events during sleep to determine if the medications are effective and safe.
