Mouthpiece may help sleep apnea patients sleep through the night without bathroom breaks
NCT ID NCT05562388
Summary
This study is testing whether a custom dental mouthpiece can help people with sleep apnea get up to use the bathroom less often at night. Researchers will fit 36 adults with the device and track how many times they wake up to urinate. The goal is to see if using the mouthpiece reduces nighttime bathroom trips to fewer than two per night.
