First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a week of breathing exercises while awake, combined with playing those exercises back during sleep, can improve breathing and thinking in people with untreated sleep apnea. About 18 adults with obstructive sleep apnea will train at home and then spend one night in a sleep lab. The goal is to see if this approach reduces apnea events and boosts daytime brain function.
