Could your sleep put you at risk for another blood clot?
NCT ID NCT07356908
Summary
This study aimed to understand if having a sleep breathing disorder, like sleep apnea, affects the chance of a dangerous blood clot in the lung (pulmonary embolism) coming back within a year. Researchers followed 40 adult patients who were hospitalized with a confirmed blood clot. They compared the one-year outcomes of patients with and without sleep-disordered breathing to see if there was a link to recurrence.
