Can a sleep machine calm a racing heart?

NCT ID NCT07087587

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether using a CPAP machine for sleep apnea can help reduce episodes of atrial fibrillation (Afib) and improve quality of life. Twenty participants with both conditions will alternate between using and not using their CPAP machine for two-week periods over three months. The study will track Afib episodes using implanted heart devices and ask participants about their symptoms.
