Summary

This study looked at whether CPAP therapy reduces inflammation in fat tissue for both obese and non-obese people with sleep apnea. Researchers measured inflammation and oxidative stress in 40 men treated with either real or placebo CPAP. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
