Summary
This study looks at how sleep quality affects surgeons' ability to perform surgery, both mentally and technically. Researchers will measure sleep patterns and give some surgeons a personalized sleep consultation, including advice on sleep habits and possibly therapy for insomnia. The goal is to see if better sleep leads to improved surgical performance. This is a small, early-stage study with 20 surgeons from the Yorkshire and Humber region.
