Can better sleep kickstart an active life? new study tests the order of help
NCT ID NCT04236882
Summary
This study is testing whether a brief online sleep program works better before or after getting advice on physical activity to help people become more active. It involves 28 overweight or obese African American adults who are currently sedentary and get less than 6 hours of sleep on average. The goal is to see if improving sleep first makes it easier to start exercising, or if becoming active first helps improve sleep.
