Summary

This study aimed to better understand how the immune system works in people with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD). Researchers observed 124 participants with these conditions over time, collecting health information and blood samples. The goal was to learn more about the immune abnormalities and genetics involved to help guide the development of future treatments.
