New cream combo tested to fight Sun-Damaged skin spots

NCT ID NCT06851507

Summary

This study aims to see if adding a vitamin D cream (calcipotriene) to a standard skin cancer prevention cream (fluorouracil) works better for treating multiple actinic keratoses. Actinic keratoses are rough, scaly patches caused by sun damage that can sometimes turn into skin cancer. Researchers will compare how well each treatment clears the spots and how patients tolerate the side effects, like redness and itching.
