First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether holding your baby skin-to-skin right after a C-section helps with breastfeeding, anxiety, bleeding, and baby health in the first day. 92 mothers and their newborns took part. Some had skin contact within 5 minutes, some within an hour, and some had standard care. The goal was to see which timing works best.
