Skin scan could reveal What's on your Baby's plate
NCT ID NCT05869760
Summary
This study aims to understand if a simple, non-invasive skin scan can accurately measure how many fruits and vegetables a baby or toddler eats. Researchers will follow 208 healthy children from 4 to 24 months old, checking their diet, taking a small blood sample, doing the skin scan, and testing their vision at several visits. The goal is to see if the nutrients from these foods, called carotenoids, are linked to better eyesight as children grow.
