Sticky patch tested to ease Post-Surgery pain
NCT ID NCT05412992
Summary
This study tested whether a medicated skin patch could help control pain after a tummy tuck surgery. About 179 adults scheduled for the procedure were randomly assigned to receive either the real patch or a look-alike placebo patch for four days. The main goal was to see if the patch reduced pain scores and the need for extra painkillers after surgery.
