Summary
This study tested a new type of microscope called Spectrally Encoded Confocal Microscopy (SECM) to see if it can take clear images of pigmented skin spots like moles. Sixteen healthy adults with moles on their forearms had their skin scanned. The goal was simply to check image quality, not to treat any condition.
