Summary

This study tested a school-based program called SHINE to help high school students use more sun protection and tan less. Over 2,200 students from 30 Utah high schools took part. Half the schools got the SHINE program and half got standard education. The program included two in-class sessions and tracked students' sun habits for up to a year.
