New scan could spot deadly skin cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT07277920
Summary
This study aims to improve the early detection of melanoma, a serious type of skin cancer. Researchers will use a special, non-invasive skin imaging technique on 200 patients who already need a suspicious mole removed. They will compare the scan images with genetic data from the removed tissue to see if the scan can more accurately identify cancer early.
