Could a new cream clear skin cancer in half the time?

NCT ID NCT05381597

Summary

This study is testing if a combination of two creams can clear common, low-risk skin cancers faster than the current standard treatment. Researchers are comparing a new cream mix (used for 1-2 weeks) against the usual single cream (used for 4 weeks) in 200 adults with superficial basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma in situ. The main goal is to see if the shorter treatment is just as effective at clearing the cancer and preventing it from coming back over three years.
