New device aims to shed light on hidden blood flow after leg artery treatment

NCT ID NCT07312383

Summary

This study aims to understand how a common procedure to open blocked leg arteries affects the tiniest blood vessels in the skin. Researchers will use a non-invasive device to measure blood flow and oxygen levels in 15 patients before and after their procedure, comparing them to 15 healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors better monitor recovery, not to test a new treatment.
