Scientists use light to watch Skin's blood flow in action

NCT ID NCT01484730

Summary

This study is testing new, non-invasive camera-based tools to see how well they can measure blood flow in the skin. Researchers will briefly restrict blood flow in participants' arms with a pressure cuff to see how the tools detect changes. The goal is to check if these imaging methods are feasible for future research on skin health and circulation.
