Baby skin study: is sensitive skin linked to a weaker barrier?
NCT ID NCT07225166
First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study involved 60 pairs of parents and their infants or toddlers. Researchers measured skin hydration and water loss to see if children with parent-reported sensitive skin have a weaker skin barrier compared to those without sensitive skin. The goal was to better understand the condition, not to test a treatment.
