NCT ID NCT07430592
First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new drug combination (SJ733 plus tafenoquine) can completely cure people with vivax malaria, a type that often comes back. About 104 adults with confirmed malaria will receive the combo over 1-3 days and be monitored for 6 months to see if the infection returns. The goal is a radical cure—eliminating the parasite from the body to prevent future relapses.
